We are expecting puppies!

The "Red Plains" of Oklahoma ("Punainen aukea" in Finnish) are also home to our red dogs, the Finnish Spitz. This lovely breed is relatively rare in this country and was only recognized by the AKC for conformation shows in 1988. But as the national dog of Finland they are well known around the world, and are becoming very popular as family pets in the US. Their fondness for children, low maintenance coat (except for the twice a year shedding) and shimmering appearance have brought a high degree of interest in recent years. Having lived with Finkies for a number of years now, we can't imagine life without them. We breed only occasionally for show and for companions, but are more than happy to talk with you about the breed and the possibility of a puppy joining your family. We hope you enjoy your visit.
